Merry Christmas!!

Dear Friends,

I hope your Christmas is one of joy and thankfulness for the unsurpassable treasure of the birth of our Savior! Amazing love that brought the Lord of all creation to earth to live and die for His chosen ones...

I also hope you have an enjoyable day spent surrounded by family love. The laughter that traditionally echos through our house on Christmas morning is amongst the greatest gifts God has given to us.

Special greetings to the Parkers via Alabama where I am for two weeks. I am also enjoying family including a grandniece and two grandnephews all under the age of eight. I enjoyed worshipping in not one but two Christmas Eve services last night and there will be almost twenty people here at my brother and sister-in-law's home today, Christmas 2014.

    The Middle Kid

    I chose to title this blog "The Adventures of a Middle Kid" because that is exactly what I'll be detailing (mostly). I chose 'kid' over any other word, like 'girl' (I am the middle girl so it also would have worked) or 'child'
    (since I am no longer exactly a child).

    I am a middle kid and I will always be a middle kid--even when I'm 80!
