The Smell of Pine; the Glow of the Screen

Well now, there are two things to talk about today.

The first is that there are ten AfterEffects compositions rendering as quickly the Monster is capable of: 4 of the ten are done after not quite thirty minutes.

I have spent the majority of the day in something of this position:

I do not recall if I mentioned it here, or anywhere else for that matter, but I do not have to fret about the music at this point (though Savannah and I would still like to try doing a little) because Mr. Joe has given me the green light on using 7 Lb.s of Bacon!! However, I'm holding off on getting ahead of myself there and am going to wait until I have all the narration and voice overs in before I start dropping music into the timeline.

The second thing of note this cold day (my toes are freezing!) is the arrival of two boxes with my name on them.

Unassembled hive body, supers, and frame. Also in this box, frame grip, honey gate, and smoker fuel.

Entrance reducer, cold knife, hive tool, and bee brush.

Yes!! You guessed right! My bee supplies arrived today!! That is, everything but the smoker. I am going to assume that they probably are shipping that separate (actually, I think I may remember reading something to that effect...but I shall double check). I also realized that I forgot to order my nuc! So, I need get THAT done before it gets any closer to go time. I am really hoping the guy in Indy has enough bees to sell me some come spring. This is also an indication that I need to prod my self back into my bee reading...

Well, the rendering is done! I think I'll go drop those AE's into the time line (and see if I need to tweak any of them).
